Mr. Lay Win is one of the bird guides who can take you wherever you wish across the country. Bird research is become his professional inclination though he got BA (Eco.) degree from East of Yangon University, Yangon. He has been earned my living as a culture tour guide, the then-Biodiversity And Nature Conservation Association (BANCA) requested him as an ornithologist for Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA). He is involving in many bird status–surveys in the country and also population status and distribution of Spoon-billed Sandpiper Calidrispygmeus, population and distribution of Gurney’s Pitta Pittagurneyiin Tanintharyi (Tenasserim) Region (2010 to 2016) and led the birding tours to Natmataung National Park (Mt.Victoria), Bagan region, Kalaw region, around Inlay lake,around Yangon and now his new destination is in proposed Lenya National Park including Ngawun Reserved Forest for Gurney’s Pitta. He spent most of his time in birding tour and also working as freelance in ornithology survey and research. And the member of Myanmar Bird and Nature Society (MBNS), Biodiversity And Nature Conservation Association (BANCA) and Oriental Bird Club (OBC).
