Mr. Thet Zaw Naing has since participated in and coordinated many monitoring and researched programs on Myanmar’s birdlife. He is not only a highly qualified ornithologist but also a dedicated conservationist. He has been working for the Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) Myanmar Program as a Bird Conservation technician since 2009. He is the current Vice Chairman of the Myanmar Bird and Nature Society and the National Coordinator for Asian Waterbird Census of Wetlands International. He is also a co-author of the 100 best bird watching sites in Southeast Asia and a co-recorder of the bird and nature sounds of Myanmar.
