Mr. Thet Zaw Naing has since participated in and coordinated many monitoring and research programs on Myanmar’s birdlife. He is not only a highly qualified ornithologist but also a dedicated conservationist. He has been working for the Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) Myanmar Program as a Bird Conservation technician since 2009. He is the current Vice Chairman of the Myanmar Bird and Nature Society and the National Coordinator .....
Ngwe Lwin
A conservationist; more than 10 years’ experience of biodiversity survey, protected area management, community based conservation and conservation awareness. He used to be a tourist guide for nature tours before he became a conservationist. Currently he is supporting local Eco-tourism development group called Innchitthu in Indawgyi Biosphere Reserve in Kachin state for the development of community based eco-tourism.
Lay Win
Mr. Lay Win is one of the bird guides who can take you wherever you wish across the country. Bird research is become his professional inclination though he got his BA (Eco.) degree from East of Yangon University, Yangon. He has been earned his living as a culture tour guide, the then-Biodiversity And Nature Conservation Association (BANCA) requested me as an ornithologist for Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA).
Ko Ye (Birder)
Birding is his interest and hobby, and he has experience in birding. At first he has been earned his living as a culture guide, then he has been serving as a professional Bird Guide throughout Myanmar since 2005. he is an executive member of Myanmar Bird and Nature Society (MBNS), so he has been participating in some kind of activities such as bird and nature conservation awareness programs at the schools throughout the whole country in Myanmar, worked in environmental impact .....
Gideon Dun @Sa Myo Zaw
Mr. Gideon is one of Myanmar’s leading bird tours and has been birding for 15 years. He has worked with Biodiversity And Nature Conservation Association (BANCA) together with BirdLife International on Pink-headed Duck survey, Vulture survey, Gurney’s Pitta survey and Spoon-billed Sandpiper survey in Myanmar. As he was born at Kalaw formerly one of the British hill station, he has great knowledge of all hill birds around Kalaw, Mount Victoria and other parts of Myanmar. He has led many birding tours from oversea.
Mai Ko
Bird watching is his hobby, trying to be a professional bird guide. he has been spending most of his time by birding and participating in conservation activities such as bird and nature awareness program, seminar that was hold by Myanmar Biodiversity Conservation Society and Asian Waterbird Census in Myanmar.
Aung Lin
Mr. Aung Lin is very great interested in birding, conservation and awareness of nature, so he is spending most of his time birding and conservation awareness program. Now, he works as a bird guide at Bird and Nature Tours Myanmar Company. Then he is a member of Myanmar Bird and Nature Society and Biodiversity And Nature Conservation Association.

Mr. Zwe is licensed regional tour guide based in Indawgyi northern Myanmar Kachin State. At present he is serving as a bird guide and working for Innchitthu that was local eco-tourism development group as well. He has three years experience in bird watching in Indawgyi lake and surrounding area since 2015.

Mr. Paw Lay is licensed regional tour guide based in Indawgyi northern Myanmar Kachin State. Kyar Pauk @ Khoon Than Thar Cho
Ms. Khoon Than Thar Cho is serving as culture tour guide, English and Korean Languages. Then, she is very great interested in birding, conservation and awareness of nature, and eager to know about birds and nature. She has participated in some activities of birding for survey and served as a bird guide with Mr. Lay Win in some birding sites. She participated in Asian Waterbird Census (Myanmar), Monitoring on Population of Baer’s Pochard in Central Myanmar with Biodiversity and Nature Conservation Association (BANCA) and the Characteristics of wetland sites in the dry zone of Mandalay & Sagaing Regions with Myanmar Bird & Nature Society (MBNS). She is a member of Myanmar Biodiversity and Conservation Society as well.
